Ocean Drive Studio, Inc. and it’s subsidiary Ocean Drive Games, Inc.  (“Ocean Drive”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) sets out how we collect and process personal information about you when you visit our website http://www.oceandrive.studio, when you play our games (“Games), or when you otherwise do business or make contact with us.

At Ocean Drive, we try our best not to collect personal data. We do not want it. We collect anonymous gameplay data to enable us to make gameplay balancing decisions as well as errors collected via bug reporting tools that occur during gameplay to be able to quickly be notified of bugs in our games. Our games integrate and communicate with the respective platforms that distribute them (such as Steam, Epic Games, GoG, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch) for the purpose of providing in-game features such as leaderboard integration and cloud saves. We also have a newsletter that retains an email and can be signed up on our website.

What do we use your information for?

We collect anonymous gameplay data to enable us to make gameplay balancing decisions as well as errors that occur during gameplay to be able to quickly be notified of any widespread critical bugs in our games. Our games integrate and communicate with the respective platforms that distribute them (such as Steam, Epic Games, GoG, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch) for the purpose of providing in-game features such as leaderboard integration and cloud saves. Our newsletter serves the purpose of notifying you when major game releases and updates come out.

How do we protect your information?

We avoid collecting personal data and the anonymized data we do collect is encrypted in transit via TLS and kept only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above.

What information we might share is anonymized and limited to only the services we pay for as part of our operating our company such as cloud hosting, off-site backups, and error tracking. We may be compelled to share what data we have when required by law.

How to Access and Control Your Personal Data

To the best of our knowledge, we do not store any personal data or have the ability to de-anonymize the data we do collect so there is nothing to delete. Our website does have a newsletter to which you can unsubscribe using the opt-out link at the bottom of the email.

Where we Store and Process Personal Data; International Transfers

Data collected by Ocean Drive may be stored and processed in the United States of America or in any other country where Ocean Drive or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers maintain facilities. The storage location(s) are chosen in order to operate efficiently, improve performance, and create redundancies in order to protect the data in the event of an outage or other problem. We take steps to ensure that the data we collect is processed according to the provisions of this Policy, and the requirements of applicable law wherever the data is located.

For our anonymous gameplay and error reporting services, data is rotated out based on how fast it comes in.
